The Jack Reilly Institute for Early Childhood and Provider Education in the Falk College, along with Child Care Solutions, invites the community to the Sixth Annual Jack Reilly Distinguished Lecture in Infant and Toddler Caregiving featuring Craig T. Ramey. In addition to hearing Dr. Ramey's presentation entitled, "Human infancy: How mastery begins," this annual event presents an opportunity to ask questions, and to network with parents, providers and educators. Ramey is the Distinguished Research Scholar of Human Development and Professor of Psychology and Pediatrics at Virginia Tech Carilion Research Institute and School of Medicine. His recent publications include topics such as Head Start: strategies to improve outcomes for children living in poverty, and early educational intervention and cumulative risk. His work aims to promote children's education and health outcomes, and improve family and community wellbeing.
