Total number of housing units: approx. 1,400
Total number of residents in our facilities: approx. 8,000

North campus:
18 major residence halls housing approx. 5,200 single undergraduate students

South campus:
3 Skytop (Sky Halls) residence halls and 1,050 apartments at Slocum Heights and Skytop housing 255 single graduate students; 1,583 single undergraduates; and 213 families in apartments

Students from New York State:
Approximately 43% with the remainder from all 50 states

International students:
4% representing almost 100 foreign countries

Training & Development:
An emphasis on student development in our residence halls and apartments is reflected through special efforts in leadership, staff training, academic excellence, new student orientation, active community councils, and the Residence Halls Association.

ORL Professional Staff:
The Office of Residence Life has a total of 13 Residence Directors, 10 Central Office Directors, 2 Coordinators, 12 Assistant Residence Directors, 3 Graduate Assistants and 7 clerical staff (full time)

Student Staff:
There are approximately 300 students working in the Office of Residence Life. There are 156 RAs and over 130 MDAs.
